multi - GENRE
CELLIST, VIOLINIST, VIOLIST
Jenn Fantaccione is a versatile and multi-talented cellist, violinist, and violist who brings a rich blend of classical technique and diverse musical influences to her work. With over 17 years of experience as a performer and session musician, Jenn has built a reputation for her adaptability, playing across a wide range of genres.
Classically trained under Lisa Pribanic, Ed Birnn and Martha Cybyk, Jenn’s strong classical foundation laid the groundwork for her transition into more contemporary and experimental music. In 2007, she joined indie-folk octet River City Extension, marking the start of her shift from classical music to a more diverse musical landscape.
Since then, Jenn has worked with a range of artists both in the studio and on stage. As a sought-after session musician, she has contributed to albums by The Front Bottoms, Four Year Strong, Kevin Devine, Crazy and the Brains, and Bad Heaven LTD among many others. Her ability to merge classical sensibilities with modern musical styles has made her a respected collaborator, and her musicality and technical skill have earned her a reputation as a versatile and trusted musician.
Beyond her career as a session musician, Jenn has extensive performance experience, both as a touring member of River City Extension and The Front Bottoms, and as a freelance musician performing regionally with a diverse array of artists, including punk icons The Bouncing Souls, indie-pop singer FLETCHER, retro-rock group The Weeklings, and various iterations of Remember Jones’ dynamic tribute shows. She also regularly performs at weddings and in pit orchestras, bringing her versatile skill set to a wide range of musical settings.
With a commitment to quality, Jenn is always open to new projects and collaborations. If you're looking for a skilled musician to bring depth and creativity to your next project, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
